Collection of amino acids that form keratin the main component of the hair structure. Reduces hair loss, promotes growth whilst nourishing and strengthening the hair shaft. Due to the same structure of the KerCysteine molecules to that of the hair cells, the molecules can insert themselves to damaged areas of the hair shaft, repairing and increasing hair protein content. Hair is thicker and stronger.

Obtained from silk, this amino acid is rich in serine which is very similar to the structural proteins found in the skin and hair and is highly hydrophilic which attracts structural proteins and water. Sericin forms a protective film on hair strand that enhances elasticity.
